SURF season 2020

Post deconfinement covid19

1) Reception of trainees within the school

The reception of the Surf School is only outside the premises with the provision of a hydroalcoholic gel dispenser. An information panel bearing the ARS recommendations in force (barrier gestures, physical distance) must be clearly visible. The person in charge of reception wears a regulatory mask and systematically recalls the health instructions in force.
A person is welcomed at the same time for requests for information or registration. Respect for distance between customers, with markings on the ground recommended.
For payments requiring a return, the person in charge of receiving them or giving change must wash or disinfect their hands after each transaction.
Trainees are asked to come with their swimsuit and if possible with their jumpsuit, equipped with a mask according to the regulations in force, and with a minimum of belongings which they must leave in their personal bag in front of the school premises, under surveillance. Any containers used for individual storage are disinfected after each use.

2) Course of the surf lessons

Group surf lessons are delivered for a maximum of 8 trainees, according to the regulatory usage of the practice on French territory.
During all the sessions the instructor will ask and insist on respecting the distance between each student, as we already did for lessons usually for safety.
Depending on the nature of the coast (access to regulated and non-regulated areas, placement of baïnes and sandbanks), local authorities may bring together professionals authorized to practice in their regulated area, in order to find an agreement on the optimal number of slots to be performed.
Depending on the state of the sea and the flag display on the beach of the sea rescue services
the municipality, the services will be delivered avoiding as much as possible any risk of direct assistance of the instructor to the trainees; the services are not delivered if the “red flag” is displayed.
In the event that new health recommendations are decreed, they will be immediately implemented.
Reception is reserved for customers who do not require assistance and physical contact from the instructor, such as children who are too young or people with reduced mobility.
The teaching time 1h30 (1h30 on the beach and in the water) depending on the geographic positioning of the school (travel time from school to beach).
Respect for the physical distance between clients to go to the beach and at the time of the explanations and briefing of the BE1, BE2 or BPJEPS qualified instructor; these certifications (or diploma) being the only ones in the surfing sector, to integrate the PSE1and PSE2 training.
The boards will be disinfected after each use, according to the principle of double disinfection.
After each use, trainees must immerse their neoprene wetsuit in a container containing a disinfectant while respecting the conditions of use (dose, soaking time, rinsing), according to the principle of double disinfection. To avoid an overload of work on the monitor and in particular concerning the carrying of loads, customers will be invited to follow the disinfection operation from start to finish (soaking, rinsing, spreading).
The rental of equipment must be subject to the same rules of hygiene and distance.
